About us
Built by sales operators. Accelerated by AI.
We are not a 50-engineer venture-backed comms platform pretending to be one. We are a tiny team with an LLM co-pilot, shipping the unified-comms stack we wished we had when we were running our own sales crews.
The origin story
RepLine started in 2024 in a basement office above a roofing showroom. We were running door-to-door crews, paying for five separate SaaS tools (a PBX, a SMS broadcaster, a calendar app, a digital business card, a CRM connector), and watching our reps churn because the tooling was a mess.
None of the unified-comms platforms in the market were built for our motion — they assumed an inside-sales SaaS team, not a field operator. So we built one. The difference, the part that surprised us, is how fast you can ship a complete platform when you pair-program every change with an LLM.
Today we power 50+ sales teams across home services, real estate, and field-services industries. The team is intentionally tiny; the LLM does the boilerplate so humans can focus on the judgment calls.
The team
Kirk
Founder, head of product + sales
Started in roofing sales, spent a decade running door-to-door crews and watching reps drown in disconnected SaaS. Built RepLine out of frustration and started selling it to the operators in his network the same week.
Claude
AI engineering partner
An Anthropic LLM that pair-programmed every line of code in the platform. Specs, schemas, tests, migrations, and most documentation pass through Claude before they ship. Every change is reviewed by a human.
An honest note on AI
We use AI heavily in the build process. Every architectural change, every test, every piece of marketing copy starts with a human spec, gets drafted by Claude, then reviewed line by line before it ships. We do not deploy code that has not been read by a person. We do not pretend a human wrote what an LLM drafted.
The advantage is that a small team can ship a platform with the surface area of a VC-funded one. The trade-off is we are extremely deliberate about quality gates — tests, audits, security reviews. We would rather move slower than ship something sloppy.
