We have been building RepLine for the last several months. This is the first post that explains why.
The problem
Almost every sales organization we have worked with runs on a _stack of single-purpose tools_ — one for SMS, one for voice, one for booking, a Linktree-style page for business-card replacement, a CRM that nobody updates after the first week, and a Google Sheet that nobody can find.
Each tool produces a slightly different version of the truth. Every handoff between them is a human typing something into a different box.
The bet
We think the unification problem is finally solvable in one codebase. Modern telephony APIs, modern auth, modern AI — there is no longer a good reason for an SDR to have six tabs open to follow up with one lead.
What's in the first release
- A unified inbox that threads SMS, missed calls, voicemail and call notes per contact
- One real phone number per rep, with two-way SMS + voice
- A scheduling page tied to every rep, with team round-robin
- A digital business card (with QR + vCard) attached to every rep profile
- An optional AI receptionist that picks up missed calls 24/7
- Exportable audit trails — your data is yours, always
If any of that sounds useful, give us a shout or spin up an account.
